Stories of “guapos”, workers and tango characters

In this original guided tour, the audience will be able to get acquainted with, between tango and tango, the most popular characters who settled in Abasto area due to the creation of the famous Market in 1893. Since that moment, the neighbourhood of Balvanera, the local characteristics mixed with the European migration that had arrived to work in our country.
From May to October/ 3rd Sunday of every month 3:30pm./ Meeting point: Pasaje Discepolo, between Av Corrientes and Riobamba.

This exhibition whose curatorship was in charge of Philip Larratt-Smith explores the changes of the American cultural from the 70’s until nowadays. The curator whose previous work for the Malba was Andy Warhol, Mr. America achieves his goal through the production of 7 selected artists considered the most important ones from the United States in the 40’s.
